Joyce Fornes is our featured Soprano Soloist. Joyce has been a cantor at St. Frances Xavier Catholic Church since 1995. Diagnosed legally blind in December of 1979, she is Braille literate and has lived independently for 21 years. She is the proud mother of two sons and two grandsons. She has a Bachelors degree in History Liberal Arts from St. Louis University and a Masters degree in Rehabilitations Counseling from SIU-C. Joyce is currently a member of the Lorilei Singing group, performing German Folk Songs, and a choir member choir at St. Francis. She performs with the Le Jardin Celtic Ensemble, and is widely known as a soloist in the Southern Illinois area.
